With legendary exhibitions on Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, the Chemnitz Art Collections have made a name for themselves throughout Germany. The Gunzenhauser Museum houses one of the largest collections of Dix and Jawlensky. In the Schloßberg Museum there is a real rarity to be seen: the Holy Sepulchre, of which there are only three left in the whole of Europe.
